“It
all matters son,” a wise old man once told me. “But
what matters most?” There are many things that matter
in our business. Certainly people and equipment are important.
We feel engineering and planning are high on that list.
Quality, safety, insurance, appearance, integrity, even
the brand of tires we buy...all of these things matter to
Perkins and our customers. All of those things--important
as they are--are done for the sake of what I call “executing
on every task for complete customer satisfaction.”
Some call it “meeting or exceeding expectations”,
some say “customer satisfaction”.... whatever
you may call it... the customer won’t be totally satisfied
unless we execute on every plan and commitment we deliver. |

Execution Matters Most because it’s the real truth as to who
we are as a team. Our customers keep a “score card”
on us. Hours of planning and promises can go into a project, but
it’s execution that results in a high score. Execution Matters
Most because executing as promised is the reason our customers continue
to reward Perkins with their toughest transport challenges. Execution
Matters Most because our customers rely upon Perkins’ task
execution to take the uncertainty out of their projects, minimize
project risks, and to meet deadlines as promised. Execution Matters
Most because results are better than any excuse or an alibi ever
given. You may use that old saying, “the proof is in the pudding”
and I would agree. But it’s just another way of saying Execution
Matters Most!
